Your role at Dynatrace
Conduct novel and independent scientific research in the following fields:

Threat and attack detection.
Vulnerability and risk analysis.
Security Posture Management (xSPM).
Kubernetes and container security.
Automated adversary emulation.

Day to Day:

Identify and develop new leading-edge technologies together with the scientific research team and its stakeholders.
Define use cases and demos to connect novel research ideas with product components.
Bridge academic research and commercial technology development: Collaborate with our application security team and other internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the global research community - publish and disseminate research findings in journals, speak and present at conferences.
Actively take part in scientific and industrial cooperation projects.
Assist the lead researcher in defining and prioritizing the research roadmap.

What will help you succeed

PhD in Computer Science or a related field
Experience and/or expertise in at least one of the relevant research topics (as mentioned above)
Good understanding of cyber and cloud security topics and their impacts on products and customer experience
Strong publication record (of course in relation to the "academic age")
Great communication skills when it comes to presenting and discussing research results with stakeholders
Excellent English skills (oral and written)
