Summary Generated by Built In

Datadog is seeking a Regional Content Manager, APJ to accelerate our brand presence and business growth across India, ANZ, and ASEAN.

You will lead the development, adaptation, and execution of content strategies that bring Datadog’s global messages to life for diverse local audiences, while creating original, APJ-specific content that resonates with customers across some of the world’s fastest-growing technology markets.

Working closely with global and regional teams, you will ensure a consistent brand experience across product messaging, campaigns, events, and digital channels — helping deliver Datadog’s value to audiences in India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and beyond.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute content strategies tailored to APJ markets - including India, ANZ, and ASEAN, assisting content managers in Korea and Japan - spanning campaigns, ABM programs, product launches, customer stories, customer videos, events, and PR initiatives
  • Create and adapt localized storytelling and messaging based on global marketing assets, ensuring cultural and market relevance across diverse APJ audiences
  • Partner with in-market teams to surface regional insights and translate them into compelling content
  • Manage high-quality content creation in collaboration with global teams and external partners, including translation vendors, writers, and creative agencies
  • Manage content publishing across multiple channels - website, social media, blogs, email, and event materials
  • Provide market insights and feedback to global teams to inform broader marketing strategies and initiatives
  • Ensure brand consistency across tone, voice, and messaging in all APJ marketing assets
  • Oversee localization projects including planning, timelines, quality, and cost management
  • Measure and optimize content performance across lead generation, engagement, and ROI

Who You Are:

  • Professional fluency in English is required for this role. Working proficiency in one or more APJ market languages is an advantage, given the role's focus on adapting content and messaging for local audiences and liaising with in-market teams and localization vendors
  • Keen interest in and practical experience using AI-powered content creation tools - such as generative AI platforms for writing, editing, ideation, or multimedia content - with the ability to apply these tools to improve quality, efficiency, and creativity
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing or content development, preferably in the B2B, IT, or SaaS industry
  • Proven experience adapting global marketing messages for APJ markets, with deep understanding of the nuances across India, ANZ, and Southeast Asia
  • Experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across web, blog, social media, and email
  • Understanding of the APJ technology landscape, enterprise buyer behavior, and the diverse cultural contexts across the region
  • Experience or understanding of translation and localisation processes, particularly for APJ languages
  • Skills in content creation, including copywriting, editing, or conducting customer interviews
  • Knowledge or experience with ABM (Account-Based Marketing) or digital marketing in APJ enterprise contexts
  • Experience in product marketing within the SaaS or cloud industry
  • Familiarity with regional analyst and media ecosystems across India, ANZ, and ASEAN

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.
