In this role, Senior Rate Engineer, you will maintain transport rates and transit-time master data in Transport Management System (TMS), support rate compliance and completeness analytics, and help drive standardization, digitalization and process improvements across the transport rates ecosystem.
Contract - 12-month fixed-term, maternity cover.
Your role:
Maintenance of the correct transport rates master data in TMS,
Maintenance of the correct transport transit times master data in TMS,
Coordination and communication of deviations in transport rates
Supporting analytics and decision‑making using TMS, Transport Analytics (Qlik Sense), and Power BI.
Providing meaningful analysis on transport rates reporting and support IWD in understanding root-causes for performance gap in terms of rates compliance and completeness
Driving transport rates processes improvements
Ensuring executional compliance and quality of the inputs to TMS
Implementation and driving global logistics processes standardization
Improvement of the use of digitalization and AI within transport rates eco system
Leading or contributing to projects in line with Philips project management standards and support onboarding and knowledge sharing within the team.
You're the right fit if:
You have min. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or equivalent;
You have working experience in Supply Chain, Transport, Logistics, Operations, Physical Distribution or equivalent;
You bring strong analytical capability and are comfortable working with data-intensive activities, reporting and root-cause analysis.
You have advanced working proficiency in Excel and practical experience with tools such as TMS, Qlik Sense and/or Power BI; interest in automation, digitalization or AI is a strong advantage.
You are proactive, ownership-driven and confident in stakeholder communication, including following up when actions are delayed or inputs are incomplete.
Compensation & Benefits
Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is PLN 86,400.00 – 115,200.00 PLN. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations. This role is eligible for 10% short term incentive, with your rewards linked to company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.
