The incumbent is a member of the Quality Control (QC) Services team. Under the supervision of the QC Supervisor, the key responsibilities are:
- Manage inventory systems for retain samples, reference standards and lab consumables in QC laboratory
- Perform support activities for QC laboratory to ensure continuity in testing activities, e.g. provision of lab and consumables.
- Author SOPs, other GMP documentation
- Ensure the maintenance of a safe operational environment in QC laboratory, undertake housekeeping responsibilities and follow safety regulations.
- Use Imex "way of working" for day-to-day operations, problem solving, escalation and continuous improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage laboratory inventory of chemicals and lab supplies (purchase, receiving, disposal) through gLIMS and kanban system.
- Support the inventory management of retention samples and reference standards in gLIMS.
- Perform campaign readiness check to ensure there are sufficient laboratory supplies for QC testing activity and relevant system set-up is in place.
- Perform glassware washing as per standard operating procedures (SOPs) and support validation / verification of glassware washing regime as required.
- Coordinate laboratory waste disposal with external waste collector.
- Author SOPs, other GMP documentation.
- Participate in 5S team initiatives and practice good housekeeping, ensuring all safety procedures are followed.
- Uphold Pfizer's code of conduct and values.
- Play an active and impactful role in Tier processes by updating performance against metrics, highlighting issues, with appropriate escalations. Support development and implementation of solutions.
- Prepare information on regulated chemicals used in the lab during the renewal of P&FM and HS licenses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive flawless execution
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities in QC laboratory.
