Your Impact:
- Design and build tools to test Cisco products, validating quality and stability from a System/Solution perspective, emulating real customer environments with wireless deployments.
- Create Cisco Validated Profiles and maintain systematic documentation for end-to-end solutions and equipment.
- Plan and execute automated and manual tests for Industrial IoT products, wireless, and LAN controllers across public and private clouds.
- Reproduce and analyze customer-reported issues for IIoT and Enterprise products, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution.
- Improve testing effectiveness using advanced approaches, tools, and technologies; adopt AI/ML techniques to enhance automation and manual execution.
- Support the team in expanding networking and test technology knowledge, retaining critical learnings for the department.
- Work with local and remote teams to review Product Requirements, Functional and Design Specifications, and test strategies for unit, integration, and system testing.
- Drive innovation by proposing new ideas that contribute to patents and IP value for the company.
Minimum Qualifications
We are seeking a QA Engineer with 8+ years in real-time embedded systems, leading large solutions and high-performance teams with end-to-end system understanding.
- Proficient in Python coding with a proven track record to build high-quality, inclusive automation test frameworks.
- Proven knowledge -on expertise in networking, including routers, switches, L2/L3 routing and switching technologies, VLANs, OSPF, and other key network protocols
- Experience with control/data plane software, Linux/RTOS/Networking OS internals, and performance/scale testing of new platforms and features.
- Skilled in writing high-quality code using the AI/ML tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Good exposure to controllers and network management systems, with a focus on innovation and test acceleration.
- Excellent verbal/written communication with a proven ability to design and implement complex technical solutions.
