What you’ll do:

Responsibilities

Project Planning

  • Works with internal stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Biz, Finance, Legal, IT and others) to clearly define the project goals, scope, and deliverables for a Quote to Cash initiative
  • Creates a comprehensive project plan, including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), timelines, milestones, resource allocation, governance, RACI and project dependencies.
  • Leads sessions to document and finalize business requirements from all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identifies and secures the necessary project team members often including Business process and capability, Business owners, , Solutions architects, compliance, finance and operational leads.

 

Project Execution & Control

  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and compliance standards.
  • Implements a formal change control process to evaluate and manage any proposed changes to the Quote to Cash project's scope, ensuring minimal disruption to the timeline.
  • Proactively identifies potential risks and develops mitigation strategies. Tracks and resolves all open issues.

 

Services Focused Technical Project Management

  • Ensures that the project outcomes result in optimized and streamlined Quote to Cash processes.
  • Includes system integration in project planning where required.
  • Manages the process of migrating critical Quote to Cash data from legacy systems to new platforms.
  • Ensures the implemented Quote to Cash deliverables, processes and systems adhere to key operational and financial regulations and standards of compliance with specific emphasis on revenue recognition, order recognition tax compliance and reporting

 

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

  • Acts as the primary liaison between all stakeholders technical teams (IT) and business units (Sales/Finance/Operations), translating complex technical issues into executive level reviews and actionable outcomes or requests for support
  • Provides regular, accurate, and transparent status reports to the steering committee and executive sponsors, highlighting progress, risks, support required and next steps.
  • Organizes and leads project kick-off meetings, regular sync-ups, risk review sessions, and steering committee meetings.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • The ability to communicate effectively with highly diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in managing competing priorities between multiple organizational groups to achieve a consensus in approach and execution.
  • The ability to mediate disputes between project stakeholders
  • An ability to understand how the project's scope of work and success directly impact the company's operational, financial and customer experience.
  • Expertise in identifying, quantifying, and developing mitigation plans for risks specific to  project
  • Experience designing and implementing policies, processes, and tools to provide operations support for sales activities
  • Strong analytical, statistics and problem solving skills.
  • Understanding of and experience in applying business and sales operations practices and process design to situations
  • Using forecasting and planning methodologies to develop guidance for deploying sales and operational resources and activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Mastery in English and local language.
  • Ability to effectively communicate sales operations plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.
  • The ability to provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
