We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, customer-facing software delivery projects in a multi-stakeholder, multi-vendor environment. This role is critical to ensuring successful end-to-end project execution, strong customer relationships, and financial accountability across global operations. You will work with Locus team on our AMK product, with our customer delivery projects in Sandefjord, Norway.

 

The Role:


A successful Project Manager will plan, execute and monitor the projects precisely while proactively maintaining good communication between the customer, team, and other stakeholders. You will also identify and drive improvements in project management processes. This is a full-time position and requires some traveling.


  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT/software projects, from pre-sales and scoping through execution and handover
  • Define and agree on high-quality Statements of Work (SOW), including scope, delivery model, milestones, deliverables, budgets (PnL) and success criteria
  • Create, maintain, and visualize E2E project delivery plans, managing dependencies, risks and external constraints
  • Drive project execution by tracking progress at task and resource level, managing scope creep, proactively identifying risks & taking actions to keep the projects on track
  • Ensure budget control and financial performance, raising early warnings and escalating when delivery or financial risks arise
  • Act as the primary customer interface and project ambassador, managing expectations and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships
  • Lead technical, business, and project discussions and workshops with customers and internal teams
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities, including estimations, proposals and identifying new business opportunities
  • Facilitate problem-solving, conflict resolution and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful outcomes
  • Promote continuous improvement, learning, and change by introducing new ideas, approaches and best practices

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager delivering software or SaaS solutions, including close day-to-day interaction with customers discussing technical and business requirements
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-vendor, multi-integration projects
  • Experience working with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies (Agile, PMP, or similar certification is a plus)
  • Solid technical understanding enabling credible discussions with customer project teams and steering groups
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management, forecasting, and PnL responsibility
  • Fluent in Norwegian & English (spoken and written)

We see as an advantage if you have experience on:

  • Experience in Transportation, Supply Chain or Healthcare industry
  • Experience with BSS systems or domain-specific customer solutions
  • Proven success cases where managing customer expectations led to revenue growth or expanded business
  • Strong pre-sales exposure, including shaping solutions and influencing customer decisions
