The Role
We are hiring a Senior Project Manager who is highly collaborative, detail-oriented and self-directed. In this role, you will manage critical, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background coordinating globally distributed teams on complex projects. Proven experience owning, planning, and driving projects to completion is essential, as well as the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and oversee project timelines, tasks, responsibilities, and deliverables, working with global teams on implementation.
- Partner with external and internal project stakeholders to define and document project scope and technical requirements when needed.
- Communicate regular project status updates across all stakeholder groups.
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks.
- Analyze key metrics impacting project progress and/or project team performance and work with the business to resolve issues and remove impediments.
- Cultivate a culture of team collaboration grounded in open and honest communication.
- Drive continuous process improvement through feedback loops, coaching, retrospectives, and individual development to help the team achieve optimal performance.
- Partner with groups across the Credit Group and throughout Morningstar.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of project management experience; PMP or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with project management platforms such as Asana, knowledge of Jira is a plus.
- A demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently, preferably in the field of software development or business operations.
- Proven success facilitating global team collaboration, including engagement with senior leadership.
- Strong communication, active listening, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to influence decision-making processes and foster an environment of healthy team debate.
- Strong finance background is not required, but genuine interest in learning the business is.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective at coaching teams and providing feedback to senior stakeholders.
Base Salary Compensation Range
EUR 47.000,00-65.666,66
Bonus Target:
12,5% Annual
We expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range. The specific compensation offered will depend on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
