We are looking for a Senior Project Manager (Subsea) to lead multidisciplinary projects from initiation through delivery, with a strong focus on offshore, subsea or marine-related operations.
In this role, you will manage complex technical projects involving internal teams, external partners and customers. You will be responsible for keeping projects on track, managing expectations, identifying risks early and ensuring successful delivery within scope, time and budget.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong technical background, hands-on project management experience and exposure to offshore or subsea environments such as cable laying, geotechnical surveys, marine operations or related activities. You will join a growing scale-up environment where processes are still evolving, and where your experience can directly contribute to how we mature our project management approach.
What you’ll do:
Lead multidisciplinary projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
Act as the main point of contact for customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
Manage projects related to offshore, subsea or marine operations, such as subsea cable installation, geotechnical monitoring, marine surveys or similar activities.
Coordinate closely with R&D, engineering, production, commercial and other internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
Translate technical requirements into clear project deliverables, timelines and actions.
Identify project risks early and implement mitigation plans to protect delivery, quality and customer expectations.
Monitor project progress, budget, planning, scope and key milestones.
Support bid development, technical discussions and customer relationship management where needed.
Contribute to improving project management processes, tools and ways of working in a scaling organization.
Capture lessons learned, share knowledge and support others in building strong project delivery practices.
What’s in it for you
Work on products that are deployed in real-world, high-impact environments, not just concepts or internal tools
Operate in a fast-growing, international scale-up where you can truly influence how projects are run.
Regular team activities and shared lunches throughout the week.
What we’re looking for:
MSc degree in Engineering, Physics, Offshore Engineering, Marine Technology or another relevant technical discipline.
Around 5–8 years of relevant project management experience in a technical environment.
Experience with offshore, subsea or marine-related projects, such as cable laying, geotechnical surveys, marine operations or similar.
Strong planning, budgeting, risk management and project execution skills.
Experience working with multidisciplinary technical teams.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with customers, partners and internal teams.
Technical affinity and the ability to understand complex technologies and translate them into practical project deliverables.
Comfortable working in a dynamic scale-up environment where priorities can shift and processes are still being developed.
Fluent English communication skills; Dutch is a plus.
You'll be working with clients in the defense and security sectors, obtaining a Certificate of No Objection issued by the AIVD (Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service) is mandatory. This means you will need to undergo a security screening. For more information, please refer to details on security screening.
