We are looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager who thrives as an individual contributor while operating confidently in highly cross‑functional, regulated environments. This role is ideal for someone who brings rigor to planning and execution, influences without authority, and is excited to help mature PMO processes, tools, and ways of working across a growing organization.
You will need to live within commuting distance to Stryker’s Irvine, CA office and be on-site 5 days per week.

What you will do:
- Lead the team in the development of the project charter and management plan. Direct, manage, monitor, and control project. Evaluate tradeoffs within project.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop, manage and own project scope. Create detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
- Responsible for assembling a project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project(s).
- Collaborate with cross-functional managers to define project budget. Monitor and maintain costs within budget.
- Responsible to improve team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, influencing, training, mentoring, and motivating in order to facilitate cooperation, ensure project efficiency, and boost morale.
- Lead the identification, assessment, monitoring, and closure of project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Can understand and communicate how goals fit into broader organizational goals, and prioritize tasks/schedule accordingly.
- Support maturating of the PMO organization by helping to implement new tools, templates, and technologies. Educate cross-functional resources on PMO initiatives and ensure consistent adherence to established processes and standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of relevant project management experience
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex project timelines
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet)
- Demonstrated project management experience, preferably in a regulated industry.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
