At Stryker, we’re seeking a Senior Project Manager in R&D who thrives on leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that shape the future of healthcare. In this role, You will provide strategic oversight of timelines and dependencies across both test and operational equipment, and you’ll enable smooth execution of broader readiness activities—including equipment moves, deployment preparation, and cross‑site coordination. This role requires a leader who builds strong partnerships across the U.S. and Ireland, fostering the connections and communication needed to advance shared outcomes.
This is a hybrid role supporting onsite 3 days a week.
What You Will Do
- Lead the development and execution of project charters, management plans, and detailed Gantt charts
- Define and manage project scope, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Develop and maintain quality and risk management plans using multiple planning tools and techniques
- Assign and manage project resources, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and deliverables
- Create and execute stakeholder and communication management plans
- Collaborate on procurement planning and vendor selection
- Provide performance feedback to functional managers and support team development
- Own project outcomes by evaluating trade-offs, managing critical paths, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of relevant project management experience
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex project timelines
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet)
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- MBA
