The team you will be part of
In GN Hearing, are known for great sound quality, design, and technology excellence. At our Headquarter in Ballerup, Denmark, you will be part of the IC Development team – an integrated part of our platform organization.
You will join a team of highly skilled engineers that are dedicated to the design of our world class chipsets for future generations of hearing aids. The team includes a large group of skilled IC design engineers, IC test engineers and IC program/project managers - all dedicated to our chip set development.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will…
Drive development projects and teams that develop our ICs. This is done in close partnership with your technical counterpart the technical lead. You are jointly leading the team consisting of members from the various IC engineering disciplines. You will be part of the program that is formed around our chip sets where you will work closely with other peers within the platform organization.
Specially, you will be:

Manage all aspects of IC development projects from start to production ramp up.

Create, own, communicate, and implement the plan needed to deliver ICs in a chipset context.

Day-to-day responsible for monitoring of the progress, resolutions of obstacles, and adjustments to ensure the execution is meeting the agreed schedule.

Responsible for project budget (Forecast and spend) including resource forecasting, external cost and material cost.

Work closely with our external partner to ensure successful solutions meeting GN and our partner’s needs.

Progress reporting internal as well as external towards partner.

Over time, help optimize our process for executing IC development and establish best practices within the project community.
To succeed in the role, we imagine that you:
-
Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
-
+10 years of solid project management experience from a R&D environment including IC/ASIC development.
-
Have excellent stakeholder management skills and are cable of handling internal was well as external partners in a complex R&D set-up.
-
Ability to follow through and being a trusted partner to your colleagues and senior management.
-
Always on top of your project plans, foreseeing potential issues and working with alternative tracks to reduce project risk.

Excellent communication skills and you speak and write English fluently.

Experience/certified within different project methodologies like PMI, SAFe is an advantage.

As a person you are proactive, team focused and quality minded.
