The expected salary range for this position is $103,800.00 - $129,740.00. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. Overview
Compassion International is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for the Enterprise Execution Project Management Office to plan, monitor and manage internal projects, often with global partners, from initiation through completion. This includes using effective practices, processes, and tools to manage project team resources, budgets, timelines, risks/issues, and changes. The Senior Project Manager partners closely with Executive Sponsors, Integrated Strategy Work Owners and other supporting organizations. This person actively builds relationships within the group and across functional lines. They often coach other project managers and related staff, building up the overall Project Management capability within the ministry.
What will you do?

The primary purpose of this senior professional includes using discretion and judgement to lead project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management on extensive, multi-phase projects.

This senior incumbent effectively uses structured project governance systems for monitoring and tracking deliverables and resolving complex issues, ensuring delivery of major projects to the plan and budget.

The project manager applies high level professional project management skills to plan, monitor and manage major, complex projects with a high number of extremely skilled experts, from initiation through completion. This includes developing assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project.

The incumbent ensures critical progress reporting, leads others to solve complex problems, uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions.

The project manager monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.

This senior incumbent ensures project results meet the highest requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.

The incumbent coaches and provides expertise, and may oversee the work of other professionals and support staff in the project management discipline.
What do you bring?

Bachelors degree in business or related field, concentration in project management a plus

10+ years of relevant experience in this or related field required; additional certifications a plus (e.g. PMP, CCMP, Agile Certification)

Experience using Smartsheet for project/program/portfolio management

Familiarity with both waterfall and agile methodologies

Familiarity with Rally for product management a plus

Global mindset, nuanced ability to communicate across cultures

Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 10% of normal schedule. (Please note: Travel requirement is project-dependent and subject to change.)
