Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead multiple open data platform and operational projects requiring collaboration skills as they will partner with several development teams across multiple departments. You will report to the Sr. Director of Program Management.
The Open Data Platforms Project Manager will manage projects focused on data enrichments, establishing and enhancing connections with data providers, integrating data access platforms, managing consumer permission data consent services, and ensuring seamless platform operations.
You will:
- Lead the delivery of several projects ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Including projects related to
- Data Platform & Data Enrichment
- Data Accessibility
- Optimization of Machine Learning Models
- Data Consent Management Services
- Operational Platform Updates
- Coordinate with product managers and development teams to identify workstreams, establish project timelines, milestones, and general platform deliverables,
- Build detailed project plans encompassing tasks from all workstreams, track dependencies, and track to milestones.
- Ensure platform teams are capturing project-related information in Jira and Confluence
- Assist product team in platform roadmap planning efforts and quarterly planning
- Oversee partnerships with external data providers.
- Collaborate with partners from legal and compliance teams on projects related to managing user consent across different data platforms
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in data management, technology, or digital transformation projects.
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Asana or other similar tools
- Knowledge of open data standards, data integration, data enrichment, and data governance practices.
- Familiarity with consent management and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile)
- Familiarity with cloud services and data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
