Senior Engineering ManagerYour role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure that the activities related to engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by providing technical support to commissioning and start-up activities.

This role is contributing to the Electrification discipline of the Automation business within Process Industries for the India, Middle-East and Africa Region. Main stakeholders include end customers, EPC/LSTK contractors, engineering consultants, project managers, process engineering teams, electrical and automation engineering teams, vendors, system integrators, and internal sales and execution teams.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Acting as a role model in applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
Serving as a specialist in the application of advanced concepts and methods.
Leading, supervising, and coordinates teams (5-25 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects of medium complexity.
Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
Qualifications for the role
You are immersed in and highly skilled in Electrical Engineering for Process Plants, working with electrical systems ranging from 220 kV to 110 V AC and 220/110 V DC across the Cement, Metals, Mining, Material Handling, Pulp & Paper, and Minerals industries.
You have a First Class B.E./ B.Tech. in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 18–20 years of relevant experience in project engineering, with consulting companies or with engineering departments of EPC / LSTK companies / Mill Builders.
You have extensive hands-on experience in the electrical engineering of Cement Clinkerization Plants, Grinding Units, WHRS, CPPs, HSMs, CRMs, Processing Lines, Open-cast and Underground Mines, CHPs, and Long-Distance Conveyor Systems.
You possess advanced expertise in the engineering of Outdoor Switchyards, Indoor Substations and Electrical Rooms and specifications of HV/MV/LV Switchgear, MCCs, IMCCs, Batteries & Chargers, VVVF Drives, LRS, Transformers, Cables, Lighting Systems.
You are highly adept in System and Layout Engineering, including Substation Equipment Assignment Layouts, Earthing Layouts, Cable Layouts, Lightning Protection Layouts, and Illumination Layouts.
You have proven experience in delivering large-scale electrification projects for the Cement, Metals, Minerals, Material Handling, Mining, and Paper industries.
You are passionate about technical problem-solving, stakeholder management, multidisciplinary coordination, and engineering excellence, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient project execution.
You have extensive experience in managing and coordinating with leading engineering consultants such as HOLTEC, DCPL, PENTA, MECON, CET, DASTURCO, and TCE, while effectively communicating with clients, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
