The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks dynamic, high-caliber and experienced professionals to join our Finance and Professional Services. To strengthen Hong Kong's role as Asia's international business platform, we organise more than 30 world-class international trade fairs in Hong Kong each year.  These fairs, which cover various industries and sectors, create opportunities for companies to promote their products or services to buyers from all over the world.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Project Manager in conducting promotional campaigns for recruiting participants from Chinese Mainland and Overseas 
  • Assist in liaison with vendors, onsite logistics preparation such as coordination and venue setup etc. 
  • Assist in preparing marketing collaterals and publicity materials including coordination with clients and branch offices etc.  
  • Assist in event participant data consolidation, preparing related reports for analysis  
  • Assist in updating audience database and information, event website, participant list and any other administrative work for the event 
  • Handle enquiries from event participants and undertake on-site duties, such as providing onsite support to event participants of the event 
  • Perform any other ad hoc tasks/ duties assigned by the Team's Section Head

 

Requirements:  

  • University graduate with a minimum of 4 years' solid relevant experience, preferably in sales and marketing, project management and event organizing, etc. 
  • Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with people from all levels 
  • Proactive, self-initiated, mature, creative, with team work spirits 
  • Meticulous and detail-minded and very attentive to details 
  • Willingness to work long hours to meet tight deadlines 
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word-processing 
  • Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua 

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.

Skills Required
