The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.

The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via research reports and digital news channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers in the overall planning and execution of local and overseas trade promotional events related to Entertainment Industry;
  • Provide sales support to the recruitment of exhibitors and exhibiting pavilions;
  • Coordinate project tasks including floor plan, participation payment, booth design and constructions, exhibitor information, etc;
  • Handle relevant enquiries and undertake on-site duties;
  • Coordinate with and maintain good relations with external and internal parties in accomplishing the project tasks;
  • Undertake administrative duties if necessary.
     

Requirements:  

  • University graduate with a minimum of 3 years' solid experience in exhibition services management is preferred;
  • Solid prior experience in sales, business development and/or event management will be an advantage;
  • Proactive, self-initiated and detail-minded;
  • Mature with team spirit;
  • Able to multitask, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure;
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua;
  • Proficiency in MS applications and Chinese word-processing;
  • Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with people from all levels.
     

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.
