The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.

The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. Responsibilities:

  • To provide administrative and secretarial support to the Section Head of the team
  • To coordinate with administrative assistants of other teams on cross-team projects and initiatives
  • To assist Business Development Manager in the overall project planning and coordination
  • To provide logistic support for trade promotion projects
  • To provide support on sales database compilation and data entry into systems
  • To handle enquiries from exhibitors / participants and undertake on-site duties during exhibitions
  • To provide support for on-site and online operations and logistics
  • To ensure smooth and timely operation of the events and related activities

  • To perform ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned  

 

Requirements:  

  • Degree holder with a minimum of 5 years’ solid relevant experience, preferably in secretarial and administration, project management etc.
  • Customer-oriented, good team spirit and able to work under pressure
  • A good team player who is flexible and able to deliver quality work within tight timelines and limited resources.
  • Attention to details and able to meet tight deadline 
  • Strong command in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
  • Proficiency in MS applications and Chinese word-processing
  • Willing to work overtime and occasionally on during weekends / public holidays

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.
