As a Senior Project Manager – Vice President with the Equities Operations Transformation team, you will lead strategic change and deliver impactful results for the Equities business. You will manage projects from planning to execution, analyze business requirements, and oversee end-to-end testing activities. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will support business growth, regulatory change, and operational excellence while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead the transformation of strategic plans into high-impact programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business strategy and timely delivery
  • Develop detailed project plans, define scope, set milestones, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure successful delivery
  • Lead and support change management activities, including stakeholder communications, training, and adoption strategies and collaborate with senior management, business leads, technology teams, and external partners to align project activities with business priorities
  • Scope, elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements using business process management and analytics tools, ensuring traceability throughout the project lifecycle
  • Perform root cause analysis to drive business process improvements across Operations & Technology
  • Utilize data analytics and AI techniques to monitor program progress and drive data-driven enhancements in project outcomes
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of business requirements, process flows, and project status reports
  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive test strategies and plans for system implementations and regulatory change initiatives
  • Drive the adoption and optimization of automation tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
  • Monitor, report, and manage testing defects, including re-testing and validation of fixes
  • Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the financial services industry, with experience with strategic system implementation, business process re-engineering, and regulatory change projects
  • Strong understanding of product offering and front-to-back workflow in Cash Equities, Equities Derivatives, and Prime Finance business
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex programs or projects across multiple business units and product lines
  • Strong business analysis skills, with experience in requirements gathering, process documentation, and delivering complex projects for Front Office, Operations, or Technology.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Experience in Agile project delivery and adaptable to evolving methodologies
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, able to interact professionally with senior executives, business leads, technology teams, and external partners
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement

  • Familiarity with Business Process Management (BPM) tools and techniques for process analysis and documentation
