About the role:

Lendlease WA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Perth to help deliver a long-term project.

In this role, you’ll lead the procurement and construction functions, manage site/project engineers, and ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll oversee construction planning, productivity, sustainability, EHS compliance, quality assurance, and financial and contract management. You’ll also mentor junior staff and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.

As a senior member of the project team, you will play a key role in driving collaboration across disciplines, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and championing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. You will be instrumental in shaping project outcomes and contributing to the long-term success of Lendlease’s operations in Western Australia.

To be successful, you will need:

  • 7+ years of on-site construction delivery experience.
  • Proven track record on large-scale building projects (ideally >$100m).
  • Strong skills in programme development, cost control, and risk management.
  • Experience resolving design and coordination issues.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
  • Deep understanding of EHS, quality, and sustainability standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Based centrally, or in the Northern / Western suburbs is advantageous to ensure proximity to the project site and facilitate efficient coordination
