What success looks like in this role:
A Senior Project Coordinator is needed to develop the plan for new projects across multiple IT teams determining scope, schedule and budget as well as operational planning. The Senior Project Coordinator supports, facilitates, and organizes project activities and plays a critical role in project implementation and delivery. ensuring timely delivery, effective communication, and proper documentation while supporting cross-functional teams and project management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordination and Communication: Facilitate communication among stakeholders, lead meetings, and act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, prepare progress reports, and manage project records using tools like Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and project management software.
- Resource and Risk Management: Coordinate resources, identify potential issues, propose solutions, and mitigate project risks.
- Administrative Support: Arrange meetings, develop agendas, and support the PMO team in bridging strategic plans with project outputs.
- Specialized Program Support: Manage specific program components such as education, PR, social media, or volunteer programs, including task assignment, tracking, and completion.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- NV1 Security Clearance is required for this role.
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Master’s degree preferred.
