About this opportunity
We are looking for an accomplished Senior Program Manager (SPM) to lead large-scale, complex telecom delivery programs across Packet Core and Cloud Native Infrastructure Solutions (CNIS) for a Tier-1 telecommunications customer.
This is a senior customer-facing leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end program execution, delivery excellence, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes. The role requires strong program governance, telecom technical understanding, commercial awareness, and the ability to lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
What you will do
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex Packet Core and CNIS programs, from planning and mobilization through deployment, integration, migration, testing, acceptance, handover, and closure.
Act as a trusted customer partner, building strong relationships with customer executives, technical teams, operations, internal leadership, suppliers, and partners.
Translate customer requirements and contractual commitments into clear program roadmaps, delivery plans, milestones, governance models, and measurable outcomes.
Lead cross-functional teams across Packet Core, CNIS, Network Management, integration, deployment, testing, and operations.
Own overall program performance across scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, risks, dependencies, change, and customer acceptance.
Establish strong program and financial governance through executive reviews, steering forums, forecasting, reporting, decision-making, and action tracking.
Proactively identify and manage technical, delivery, commercial, resource, security, and operational risks, driving mitigation, escalation, and recovery plans.
Manage changes to scope, timelines, resources, and commercial commitments through appropriate governance and approval processes.
Align resource demand and capacity with delivery priorities, ensuring the right capabilities are available at the right time.
Ensure quality, compliance, delivery readiness, customer acceptance, and a controlled transition into operations and support.
Partner with account, solution, product, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure continuity from solutioning and sales handover through execution.
Manage multiple delivery streams using Hybrid Delivery Models, including Factory Model and resource-based delivery.
Monitor and drive operational and delivery KPIs, including A&I, SSAT, SSP adoption, and CI/CD adoption.
The skills you bring
15+ years of experience leading large and complex customer-facing telecom delivery programs, preferably for Tier-1 telecommunications operators.
Strong knowledge of Packet Core, 4G/5G Core Network, Cloud Native Infrastructure/CNIS, and Network Management environments.
Experience across deployment, integration, migration, upgrades, testing, CI/CD, operational readiness, and service transition.
Proven ability to deliver against contractual commitments while managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, risks, dependencies, and change.
Strong executive-level customer and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and drive fact-based decisions.
Strong program governance and financial management capabilities, including planning, forecasting, budgeting, performance reporting, risk management, and escalation management.
Experience leading matrixed, multicultural, cross-functional, and geographically distributed teams.
Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or SAFe are preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
