Pratt Miller is seeking a Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional engineering programs from planning through integration, validation, and delivery. The role is accountable for customer satisfaction and disciplined program execution, including scope, schedule, financial performance, risk mitigation, and delivery.


PROGRAMS MAY SPAN THE FOLLOWING AREAS

  • Autonomous Systems Integration: Integrating autonomy, drive-by-wire, sensing, compute, and controls into real-world platforms.
  • Deployable Infrastructure: Designing and integrating rapidly deployable systems for power, compute, communications, and energy management.
  • Advanced Vehicle Technology Integration: Integrating new technologies including electrification, power systems, suspension, controls, and specialized equipment onto mobile platforms.

TOP REQUIRED FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS

  • Lead complex engineering programs and concurrent technical workstreams, establishing clear scope, milestones, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risks, deliverables, and customer commitments.
  • Partner with technical leads and functional managers to coordinate systems, mechanical, electrical, software, controls, procurement, prototype build, integration, test, validation, and deployment activities.
  • Lead customer and internal program reviews, clearly communicating technical progress, financial performance, key decisions, risks, dependencies, and issues requiring action or leadership support.
  • Drive cross-functional execution and timely resolution of technical, integration, supply-chain, schedule, and resource issues while maintaining appropriate technical ownership within engineering.
  • Manage scope and requirement changes, assess cost and schedule impacts, maintain contractual alignment, and ensure requirements, acceptance criteria, and deliverables are tracked through completion.
  • Support new and follow-on business by helping define execution approaches, schedules, resource needs, risks, and cost estimates, and by transitioning awarded work into disciplined program execution.
  • Build effective relationships across engineering, operations, manufacturing, business development, customers, suppliers, and partners; demonstrate sound judgment and adaptability as requirements and priorities evolve.

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7–10 years of experience in program management, project management, engineering, or product development involving complex systems integration, autonomous systems, advanced vehicle technologies, deployable infrastructure, or related electromechanical systems.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technical programs, including responsibility for schedules, budgets, resources, risks, customer relationships, integration, testing, and delivery.

 

DESIRED SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Experience with one or more relevant technology domains, including autonomous systems, drive-by-wire, electrification, power and energy systems, or advanced vehicle technologies.
  • Working knowledge of systems engineering, requirements management, system architecture, interface management, verification and validation, and hardware/software integration.
  • Strong technical communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and engineering teams to translate objectives and requirements into executable program plans.

Pay Range:

$118,700.00 - $211,300.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
