Within WECE, Hardware Engineering Enablement (HEE) helps bring modern hardware innovation to life on Windows PCs—delivering the tools, guidance, insights, and engineering partnership that elevate device quality, performance, efficiency, and user delight across the ecosystem.

The WECE HEE Taiwan team is looking for a Senior Program Manager to strengthen the quality of strategic components and the broader hardware supply chain, including mobile components used across Windows devices. In this role, you will influence next-generation system designs, guide ecosystem partners from component selection and integration through validation and scale, and drive quality, reliability, and readiness across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate across Microsoft engineering teams and a diverse partner network of OEMs, ODMs, silicon partners, component suppliers, IHVs, and industry stakeholders to align platform requirements with ecosystem and supply-chain execution. Through reference architecture guidance, tools, assessments, enablement documentation, data-driven insights, and hands-on engineering support, you will help partners deliver differentiated, high-quality Windows devices built on robust components and scalable designs.

Responsibilities
  • Drive strategy, enablement, and ecosystem readiness of key hardware features across the Windows platform.
  • Partner with engineering, OEMs, ODMs, IHVs, silicon vendors, and industry stakeholders to define and execute roadmap priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional programs that improve capability, quality and cost efficiency of strategic hardware components.
  • Influence technical direction, industry standards, and partner implementation through data-driven insights and stakeholder engagement.
  • Represent the business in executive reviews, partner discussions, and strategic planning activities.
  • Leverage data and AI to efficiency optimization, quality improvement and business insights. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years experience in relevant technical domain (e.g., cloud services, security),  product management,or cross-group/cross-functional engineering.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of program management, product management, or related experience.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in driving platforms, hardware or ecosystem initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Solid ability to influence across organizations and drive alignment.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and executive presentation skills for mandarin and English.
  • Experience working with Windows platform technologies, device ecosystems or industry standards.
  • Experience collaborating with OEMs, ODMs, silicon vendors, or hardware IHV partners.
  • Proven record of leading complex cross-organizational programs from strategy through execution.
  • Good command of AI tools and data analytical skills.
