About the Role

Ontra is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager, reporting to our Director of Product Marketing, to join our growing Marketing team. 

We’re looking for someone excited to spearhead innovative product launches, drive sustainable business growth, and set a benchmark for vertical B2B SaaS excellence, while bringing a strong willingness to learn the industry and become an expert in the space

What You’ll Do

  • Product Launch Management: Lead and execute the strategic launch of the Insight product, helping to advance Ontra’s multi-product platform strategy.
  • Messaging & Positioning: Develop clear and persuasive messaging and content that seamlessly integrates with sales and marketing strategies to capture market attention.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster alignment and teamwork across product, sales, customer service, and marketing teams to enhance the sales funnel and drive business growth.
  • Customer Insight Communication: Advocate for customer needs by sharing market insights to product management to influence product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Competitive Analysis: Gather and interpret market and competitive intelligence to establish thought leadership and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Data-driven Insights: Utilize customer research and data to uncover market insights, identifying trends and preferences to optimize product messaging and launch strategy.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: 6+ years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing with a track record of launching and scaling multiple products efficiently.
  • Customer Obsession: Strong passion for conducting market research that uncovers customer needs.
  • Positioning Expertise: Proven expertise in the development of product positioning and messaging.
  • SaaS Knowledge: Extensive understanding and practical experience in B2B SaaS environments.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled in leveraging customer insights, product usage data, and market trends to inform strategy and optimize marketing performance.
  • Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving: Proven ability to tackle complex challenges, prioritize effectively, and develop strategies that drive growth and product adoption.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience influencing and aligning stakeholders across Product, Sales, and Customer Success to drive business outcomes.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and visual communication abilities, with a knack for translating complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.

Pay Transparency
Ontra takes individual candidate location, experience, and skills into consideration when determining compensation. The base pay range is listed below. Additionally, all positions are eligible for unit-based equity grants.

Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, such as commission or other variable compensation structures, which is not included in the below base pay range.

$136,000$204,000 USD
