What You'll Do:
Our Marketing Team is seeking an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager who excels in strategic thinking and effective execution. This is a highly visible role and requires an understanding of product lifecycles and go-to-market orchestration. The ideal candidate will be skilled in leveraging market research to drive product success and excel in competitive analysis as well as sales and partner ecosystem enablement. You will play a critical role in shaping strategy, establishing our leadership in the telematics space, and ensuring alignment with market needs and trends.
As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will drive the success of our fast-growing Insurance line of business by developing creative and innovative marketing strategies that address the challenges and business needs of our prospects and clients. Successful candidates will have a passion for taking the complex and making it simple, and for marketing through compelling stories.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working with P&C Insurance carriers and/or brokers, be relentlessly curious, a highly efficient and organized person, an excellent project manager and be a selfless team player. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with various departments, helping orchestrate our Go to Market processes and be an evangelist for our insurance and telematics offerings.

  • Keep a finger on the pulse of our customers, the market and our competition. Act as the "messenger of the market" from the outside-in to the rest of the organization.
  • Evangelize the product value proposition and messaging to internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Leverage win/loss tools and conduct competitive research to understand why we are winning and losing in the market and adapt messaging, marketing strategies and tactics based on this information.
  • Develop compelling sales materials with clear, consistent messaging targeting key personas for all phases of the sales cycle.
  • Drive thought leadership in the market through a combination of written content, webinars, podcasts and speaking engagements.
  • Collaborate with our customer marketing leader to increase awareness of new products and services, encourage customer retention and ensure that customers are receiving maximum value from our solutions.
  • Be part of a creative and agile team dedicated to shaping our brand.
  • Tailor messaging to meet feature/product adoption goals.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders such as marketing, product & sales on the creation of positioning for our products.
  • Work within roadmap timelines and deadlines to drive cross-functional GTM strategy.
  • Orchestrate our Go to Market processes and be the SME for our insurance offerings.
  • Maintain our comprehensive insurance buyer persona library leveraged by the company.
  • This role will have opportunity to participate in industry events and quarterly onsite meetings
  • for the Marketing, Product and Sales teams.
  • Travel up to 25%, depending on where you are based.


What you'll need:

  • 5-7 years proven experience in product marketing, preferably in a technical or software-focused environment.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information
  • High degree of curiosity, ingenuity, and personal ownership
  • Strong knowledge of product lifecycles and go-to-market strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and partner ecosystem enablement.
  • Experience in product integrations and positioning to technical audiences.
  • Expertise in conducting competitive analysis and leveraging market research.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills. A writing sample will be requested if you are invited to interview.
  • High attention to detail
  • Influential with ability to facilitate alignment & build relationships across the organization
  • Organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple competing projects
  • Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
  • Product Marketing Certified (PMA Core)/Pragmatic Institute Certified (PMC) III or higher preferred
  • Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as JIRA, Teamwork, Hubspot & Salesforce
  • Insurance industry or Insurtech experience preferred
  • Experience working with telematics data or solutions preferred
