As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Government Cloud, you'll be strategic contributor to our go-to-market efforts for Atlassian Government Cloud. In this high-impact role, you'll shape our government cloud narrative, drive adoption, and partner cross-functionally to ensure a successful General Availability (GA) launch and long-term growth in the US public sector.
This is a remote-first role with flexibility; proximity to Washington DC region is a plus for customer and industry engagement. Occasional travel required for customer events and conferences.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Atlassian Government Cloud, from launch through growth phases.
- Craft compelling messaging and positioning tailored to US government agencies and personas, highlighting security, compliance, and cloud value.
- Enable sales teams with effective collateral, training, and tools to drive pipeline and close deals.
- Conduct customer and market research to inform product direction, messaging, and campaign strategy.
- Develop high-impact content (presentations, case studies, whitepapers, web copy) for government audiences.
- Support industry events and customer engagements to build awareness and generate leads.
- Partner with Demand Generation to design and execute campaigns that drive qualified leads for sales.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, Demand Generation, and Customer Engagement teams to align on strategy and execution.
- Monitor business health and funnel and regularly report out on performance and impact of your marketing activities.
- Experience:
- Proven track record marketing to US government agencies, ideally for SaaS solutions targeting IT buyers.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements for government cloud solutions.
- Medium ttechnical proficiency-able to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Core Skills:

- Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent stakeholder and project management abilities.
- Collaborative team player, creative thinker, and open to feedback.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $150,700 - $200,900
Zone B: $135,600 - $180,800
Zone C: $125,000 - $166,700
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
