Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
Role Overview
Atlassian is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Developer AI to lead the go-to-market strategy for Rovo Dev, our AI-powered solution for software development teams. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and design to help define product-market fit in a fast-moving, innovative market.
This is a great role for a marketer passionate about developers and excited to shape narrative, positioning, and launch strategy for a high-potential product. Your work will connect developers with Rovo Dev's capabilities, drive adoption, and help scale impact.
If you love launching cutting-edge products and telling stories that resonate with technical audiences, this is your chance to make a big impact at Atlassian.
Responsibilities
- Roadmap & Strategy Partnership: Serve as a key voice of the customer to inform product roadmap and prioritization. Collaborate closely with Product Management and Design to align product strategy with market opportunities and growth potential.
- Adoption & Growth Strategy: Own the strategy and execution of programs that drive product adoption, activation, and retention. Identify friction points in the user journey and partner with Product, Growth, and Analytics to test and iterate on improvements.
- Positioning & Messaging: Develop crisp, compelling messaging that differentiates Rovo for Developers in a fast-evolving AI Developer solutions market. Ensure messaging is rooted in customer insights and resonates with technical and business audiences alike.
- Conversion Optimization: Analyze user behavior across the funnel to uncover conversion drop-offs and growth levers. Design and execute messaging, onboarding, and content experiments to improve trial, usage, and paid conversion.
- Go-to-Market Planning: Partner with cross-functional teams to launch new features, campaigns, and growth motions. Ensure launches are informed by customer needs and GTM efforts are tied to measurable business outcomes.
- Customer & Competitive Insights: Collaborate on research efforts to understand user needs, use cases, and market trends. Turn insights into actionable recommendations that influence both product direction and marketing tactics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Product, Analytics, Design, Growth, and Sales to align on goals, share insights, and create cohesive customer experiences.
- Passionate, self-starter with a no-bullshit, can-do attitude
- 5+ years in product marketing, developer marketing, product management or strategy roles. Preferably with experience in B2B SaaS, AI, developer tools, or other technical products.
- Highly collaborative, with a proven ability to partner cross-functionally and influence without authority.
- Ability to operate autonomously, eager to jump in to get things done and don't get flustered in a fast-paced and often changing environment.
- Comfort with technical domains, particularly Developer solutions, DevOps and AI.
- Proven track record of influencing product roadmaps and go-to-market plans based on user insights and market research.
- Excellent positioning and messaging skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into clear customer value and compelling narratives.
