How you’ll make an impact

As a Senior Product Manager in Mobile, you will be responsible for excellence in driving customer and business value through ownership of new and existing Mobile products. You will be comfortable working in complex product spaces that require navigating larger degrees of ambiguity and comprehensive stakeholder management. You will manage Mobile products end-to-end, from early-stage research and ideation, through to implementation and improvement over time. Your impact will be measured by key commercial and customer success metrics. 

What you'll do

  • Lead development and execution of Xero’s Mobile product strategy, roadmap, and OKRs
  • Conduct and synthesise customer research to identify and validate valuable, complex problems
  • Embed customer insights and data in product planning and prioritisation
  • Frame and test solution hypotheses in a complex, cross-functional environment
  • Manage funding, resources, risks, and compliance across the product lifecycle
  • Oversee delivery cadence, rituals, and release strategy to ensure effective launches
  • Monitor product performance, driving continuous improvements and interventions as needed
  • Lead the product through its full lifecycle, from discovery to sunset
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and collaborate across product functions
  • Coach and support team development, hiring, onboarding, and product practice uplift

  • Your work actively contributes to team and product OKRs
  • Clear, well-defined OKRs are established and tracked for your product
  • Product team rituals are in place and delivery performance is continually improving
  • You have a deep understanding of customer needs and problems
  • The roadmap is being executed effectively, focused on high-impact priorities
  • Junior team members are growing in skills, methods, and tools
  • Everyone involved with the product understands the what, why, and when
  • Product success is clearly defined with key metrics tracked and measured
  • Stakeholders are highly engaged and aligned with your vision and roadmap
  • You consistently model and amplify Xero’s values across your work

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience shaping product roadmaps and long-term strategy across complex or multiple products
  • Strong track record of using technology to solve customer problems and deliver value
  • Skilled at collaborating with diverse stakeholders to drive customer and commercial outcomes
  • Deep understanding of agile practices in software development environments
  • Experience influencing decisions and outcomes across varying levels and contexts
  • Hands-on experience developing native mobile product solutions
  • Industry experience relevant to Xero’s ecosystem is highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and support product team members
