The role & it's impact:
As a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist you will play a vital role in supporting the global engagement strategy for accountants and bookkeepers. In this role you will focus on creating personalised, orchestrated journeys that provide meaningful value to our partners, ensuring every interaction is relevant and impactful. You will leverage various direct marketing channels, including email, in-product messaging, and SMS, to drive high-quality customer conversion.
The team & how they connect:
You will join a collaborative team reporting to our GM of Lifecycle Marketing, working closely with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver seamless customer experiences. The team thrives on a test-and-learn approach, sharing knowledge and best practices to stay ahead of industry standards and competitor movements.
Initially, you will focus on:
Supporting the end-to-end development and execution of lifecycle projects within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud to gain insights into customer behaviour and inform new programs.
Analysing journey performance and experiment results to find new opportunities for growth and optimisation.
Mapping user needs to design communication journeys that add value at every touchpoint.
Where and how you can work:
This role is based in Melbourne or Sydney, with the flexibility of being remote near these locations. Xero supports hybrid working arrangements to ensure you can perform your best work in a way that balances team connection and individual focus.

You possess strong analytical skills, particularly with Google Analytics or internal dashboards, to turn data into actionable hypotheses.
