As a Senior Product Manager, you'll define and execute product strategies for Jira's most used experience: the Work Item experience. Collaborate with cross-craft teams to simplify complex challenges and deliver customer-focused solutions. Bring your expertise working with product leaders to contribute immediately to high-impact projects. This is your chance to shape Jira for millions of daily users.
- Product Strategy: Define and execute a compelling product vision for your areas that aligns with customer needs and shapes the future of work item experience
- Holistic Problem Solving: Solve problems holistically by considering the broader ecosystem, identifying interdependencies, and designing scalable solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong cross-functional partnerships to ensure alignment and shared success
- Results Orientation: Own the full product lifecycle, consistently delivering measurable outcomes from concept to launch
- Product research and Roadmap: Leverage customer insights, feedback, and market analysis to identify opportunities and inform the roadmap.
On your first day we'll expect you to have:
- Demonstrated experience with AI products and an AI-first mindset
- Strong instincts paired with analytical thinking; comfortable making data-driven decisions using both qualitative and quantitative insights
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and drive teams toward product goals
- A genuine customer obsession - proactively engaging with customers to solve their problems, even when it requires tough conversations
- Deep understanding of product usability and the ability to guide teams in creating delightful user experiences
- You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and embody Atlassian's values of
openness, empathy, and team success.
It's great if you have:
- 6+ years of product management experience at a fast-growing software company
- A degree in computer science or a related technical field; an MBA or startup experience is a plus. Problem-solving skills honed in strategy consulting is a bonus.
- A proven track record of delivering measurable impact and achieving ambitious goals
- Experience designing and launching products for a diverse, global user base
