The Role
Own the integrations roadmap, public APIs, developer experience, data contracts, canonical models, authentication, authorization, and integration platform. Build reusable connectors, mapping tools, monitoring, reconciliation, and self-service configuration. Partner with customers and engineering teams, review APIs and data models, debug production sync issues, and improve deployment time and integration reliability for enterprise systems.

About the role

The platform only works if it plugs cleanly into the systems customers already run on — HCM and payroll platforms, timekeeping, WFM, ERP, identity providers, point-of-sale, and property management systems. Every deployment depends on getting the right data in, in near real time, and pushing decisions back out to the systems of record. Integrations are not plumbing here; they are the substrate the AI decision layer runs on.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own that surface end to end: the public APIs, the integration platform, and the data contracts that connect the platform to the enterprise. This is a deeply technical product role. You’ll spend your time in API design reviews, data models, and auth flows as much as in customer conversations. You should be comfortable reading a payload, questioning a schema, and telling the difference between an integration that will scale to fifty customers and one that will collapse at three.

Please note: This is a technical Product Management role, not a generalist PM position. Before applying, please make sure you meet the technical requirements outlined below, particularly those related to APIs, integrations, data, and enterprise systems.

The problems are complex, the customer environments are messy, and the leverage is enormous.

What you’ll do

  • Own the integrations roadmap: prioritize which enterprise systems to connect to next, and make the build vs. partner vs. platform call for each

  • Own the public API and developer experience — resource design, versioning, pagination, error semantics, rate limiting, webhooks, docs, and sandbox

  • Define the data contracts and canonical models that make it possible to ingest employee, schedule, time, demand, and payroll data from wildly different source systems without one-off logic per customer

  • Turn repeated custom integration work into reusable platform capability: connectors, mapping and transformation tooling, sync monitoring, and self-serve configuration

  • Own authentication, authorization, tenancy, PII handling, and the compliance posture enterprise buyers will audit you on

  • Cut time-to-first-value on deployments, and feed real deployment friction back into the roadmap

  • Make integration health a product feature: observability, reconciliation, data quality signals, and clear failure states

  • Get in the details — write specs, run API reviews, test in staging, debug sync issues in production, and work directly with customer IT

Why you’ll love this

  • Massive impact: your work could improve the lives of millions of workers and transform how huge companies operate.

  • Real leverage: integrations are the gate on every deployment. Get this right and you accelerate the whole company.

  • AI-native foundation: you’ll be building on technology designed for AI from day one, not retrofitted into old tools.

  • High-stakes deployments: see your work in action at stadiums, hotels, hospitals, and resorts.

  • Huge market: even a 1% improvement in staffing efficiency can save billions.

Details

  • Fully remote

  • Paid in USD

  • EST or PST aligned hours

What we’re looking for

  • 5-9+ years of Product Management experience, with meaningful time on technical/platform products — APIs, data pipelines, or integrations

  • Demonstrated ownership of a public or partner-facing API: you’ve made real design decisions and lived with the consequences

  • Fluency with integration patterns and their trade-offs: REST and event-driven, webhooks vs. polling, batch vs. streaming, ETL/ELT, idempotency, retries, backfills, reconciliation

  • Comfortable working directly with data: you can read a schema, write a query, inspect a payload, and reason about data quality without waiting on engineering

  • Working knowledge of enterprise identity and security expectations — OAuth 2.0, SAML/SSO, SCIM, encryption, role-based access, audit logging

  • Experience integrating with enterprise systems of record — HCM, payroll, WFM, ERP, or similar (Workday, UKG, ADP, SAP, Oracle, Ceridian, Kronos, or equivalents) is a strong plus

  • Track record shipping to enterprise customers with long deployment cycles, IT stakeholders, and security review

  • Extreme attention to detail and the ability to quickly grasp complex business processes and industry context

  • Strong written and oral communication with internal and external stakeholders, including customer engineering and IT teams
