Job DescriptionWe are seeking a product leader to define and deliver a new generation of Gracenote products. As Sr Product Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating the product strategy, roadmap, delivery, and ultimate commercial success of new products that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs), Small Language models (SLMs), MCP, and related grounding technologies. You will work with a team of product experts in their field, and report to Gracenote’s VP of AI.
Gracenote AI is an exciting new growth vector for Gracenote. This role will be hugely impactful in shaping commercial strategy, product strategy, and pricing to mature our LLM-based products in a rapidly-evolving technological landscape, and will play a significant role in how Gracenote helps the world's largest CTV apps and platforms power search and discovery.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and contribute directly to the success of these emergent products. This role requires an experienced practitioner with a solutions-oriented mindset who understands the potential of language models in the entertainment metadata industry and can execute to fruition.
Responsibilities
Deliver LLM and Grounding products and platforms that anticipate the needs of the entertainment industry, with a specific focus on Video and Sports in Connected Television (CTV).
Work with a team of talented product managers, sharing knowledge, and aligning Gracenote’s expertise in entertainment metadata with the rapidly evolving capabilities of language models.
Collaborate with internal cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to evangelize and articulate Gracenote’s AI vision and strategy.
Coordinate with Engineering colleagues and counterparts to ensure development resources are aligned with product priorities; collaborate with engineering, data science, UX, commercial, and external partners to deliver exceptional products.
Qualifications7+ years experience leading AI technology product teams.
Demonstrated and detailed knowledge of the capability, potential, and pitfalls of LLMs and probabilistic technologies.
Applied experience in creating products that leverage language models to address domain-specific use cases, ideally employing large-scale, authoritative datasets.
Strong executive disposition and communication skills, with the ability to build trust in evolving data and technology environments.
Experience in understanding and overcoming the business and technical challenges of the CTV/entertainment metadata space is strongly preferred.
