Senior Product Designer

• Lead the design of exceptional digital products, from strategy to launch and optimization. You'll balance innovation with maintaining and expanding Platzi's UX strategy and distinctive visual identity.
• Apply systems thinking to tackle complex product challenges across B2C and B2B (retention, acquisition, dashboards).
• Execute designs with rigor and attention to detail, ensuring consistency, functionality, and aesthetics across the user experience.
• Use Figma, FigJam, and AI tools to deliver prototypes and polished interfaces that reflect Platzi’s visual identity.
• Synthesize insights and communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate in highly interactive, cross-functional environments, aligning priorities and managing expectations.
• Drive innovation by proposing bold, non-conservative solutions.
• Take proactive ownership of projects, ensuring all user scenarios are considered, not just the happy path.
• You'll play a key role in shaping product strategy and enhancing Platzi's design system, ensuring a unified and adaptable visual language across all user touchpoints.

• 5+ years of product design experience with a versatile portfolio covering B2C/B2B work, including experience working in startups or SaaS products.
• Passionate about creating useful, usable, and desirable products.
• Comfortable in ambiguity, bringing clarity and direction to teams.
• Detail-oriented while keeping the big picture in mind.
• Skilled at simplifying complex problems and backing decisions with data.
• Experienced in interactive prototyping; CSS/frontend knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communicator, with strong stakeholder management skills, confident in alignment discussions and design handoff to engineering.
• Curious, experimental, and eager to push creative boundaries.
