Director - Network Strategy and Execution
Role Overview
The Director, Network Strategy and Execution will support and co-own the strategic planning and execution of the Avanti migration initiative across key global markets. This role requires a deep understanding of market archetypes, switching capabilities, and platform infrastructure to drive successful transitions from Classic to Transaction Stream platform.
The Director will serve as a central point of coordination across regional, technical, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment on execution plans, success metrics, and resource deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Market Evaluation & Migration Planning
- Conduct detailed assessments of initial target markets to map current Classic platform features to the Transaction Switching (TS) platform.
- Develop customer migration plans and define success metrics and Go/No-Go decision criteria.
- Establish a standardized template for regional, technical, and cross-functional partner sign-off.
Competitive Gap Analysis
- Lead a formal study comparing current switching capabilities with competitive offerings and emerging market developments.
Platform Transition Strategy
- Evaluate the Classic platform setup and define migration strategies to Stream for:
As examples
- Brazil: Installments
- Indonesia: Local Infrastructure
- Australia: Domestic Routing and Least Cost Routing (LCR)
Platform Impact Assessment
- Assess implications of Avanti migration on standalone platforms such as MPGS,MNGS etc.
- Assess implications of Avanti migration on central platforms such as Tokenization, Data & Services platforms etc.
Market-Specific Expertise
- Provide in-depth leadership on strategic markets (examples)• Mexico / Japan Domestic switching • On Soil infrastructures like India, Indonesia etc.
Execution Ownership
- Directly own and drive execution for key markets including Kimberley, Sydney, Rafa and beyond.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in network strategy, switching platforms, and global market execution.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep technical understanding of transaction switching and platform migration.
- Experience managing global teams and driving large-scale transformation initiatives.
