Job Summary: 

A Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement processes within an organization. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and building strong relationships with suppliers. The specialist ensures that all purchasing activities align with the organization’s goals, budget, and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing supplier performance, managing procurement budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational needs. The Senior Procurement Specialist also plays a critical role in risk management, ensuring a reliable supply chain while optimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.

In summary, this position requires strong negotiation skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders to drive value and efficiency in procurement activities.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • To responsible for full spectrum of procurement activities (specification , sourcing, analysis, negotiation, delivery) and ensure compliance with the related policies and procedures at all times during procurement activities.
  • To Identify, evaluate, and manage cooperations with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • To Assess and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, including supplier reliability and market volatility.
  • To provide Administrative, Functional and Project Support to optimize procurement services and improve procurement process efficiency.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles, and basic understanding semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies will be added advantage
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication , negotiation ,analytical ,problem solving and interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility to adjust strategies based on changing market conditions and organizational needs
  • Hard Skills : MS Office ( i.e. Word , Excel , Power Point ) and SAP System
