The Business Program Manager – Supplier Transitions and Scale Implementations will lead high-value supplier transition and scale implementation programs across Global Vendor Operations for Microsoft’s Operations Service Center (OSC). This role is responsible for translating business needs into prioritized, well-defined, and measurable programs that strengthen supplier delivery, manage operational and compliance risks, and enable scalable outcomes across OSC.

Responsibilities
• Lead supplier transition and scale implementation programs from intake through deployment, ensuring objectives, scope, milestones, ownership, risks, and success measures are clearly defined and understood.
• Prioritize and oversee supplier program demand by balancing business impact, delivery capacity, compliance requirements, financial stewardship, and operational risk.
• Develop structured program plans, operating rhythms, escalation processes, and decision-making frameworks that support effective execution and stakeholder alignment.
• Partner across Operations Service Center workstreams and enabling teams to support transition readiness, change management, communication strategies, and sustainable program implementation.
• Leverage data, scorecards, dashboards, and business reviews to monitor program health, identify opportunities and risks, measure adoption, and provide visibility into outcomes.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, translate lessons learned into scalable practices and playbooks, and drive continuous improvement in supplier program delivery and governance.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field AND 6+ years of experience in program management, process management, supplier operations, outsourced delivery, business operations, governance, or related experience

    • OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field AND 4+ years of experience in program management, process management, supplier operations, outsourced delivery, business operations, governance, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional programs end-to-end in a highly matrixed environment, driving trade-off decisions, stakeholder accountability, and measurable business outcomes.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business judgment skills with the ability to translate ambiguity into clear execution plans and operational outcomes.

  • Experience with supplier operations, outsourced delivery, governance, risk management, compliance, budgeting, or performance management, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive accountability, and make data-driven decisions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field AND 10+ years of experience in program management, process management, supplier operations, outsourced delivery, business operations, governance, or related experience

    • OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field AND 8+ years of experience in program management, process management, supplier operations, outsourced delivery, business operations, governance, or related experience
  • Experience leading supplier transitions, vendor operations, BPO/outsourced delivery, or large-scale operational transformation programs.

  • Familiarity with supplier governance models, intake prioritization, commercial controls, compliance requirements, and performance management frameworks, including execution of scalable operating models and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Experience working across Procurement, Finance, Compliance, Operations, and business stakeholders in a global or highly matrixed environment, with the ability to create executive-ready business reviews, dashboards, scorecards, and decision narratives.

  • Experience with process optimization, automation, AI-enabled operations, operating model design, and/or Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Business Process Management Professional (BPMP), or Change Management (e.g., Prosci) certifications.

  • Familiarity with supplier governance models, intake prioritization, commercial controls, compliance requirements, and performance management frameworks
  • Experience creating executive-ready business reviews, dashboards, scorecards, and decision narratives; working across Procurement, Finance, Compliance, and business stakeholders
  • Experience with process optimization, automation, AI-enabled operations, operating model design, and/or Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, BPMP, or Change Management (Prosci) certifications
