The selected candidate will apply their skills in design in order to develop and support our "Design it Right" initiative for a variety of complex defense products and technologies. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to acquire product knowledge, use and advance their technical skills on innovative technology while performing their assigned responsibilities in the product development on advanced projects in a Hybrid work format. The candidate will be required to be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a passion for continuous improvement with the ability to Mentor others.
Typical duties assigned to this position:
- The ability to translate system requirements to Architect and lead complex RF designs
- Capable of Small Form Factor High Frequency RF design and Layout
- Lead Technical trade studies, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test and troubleshooting using complex RF Test equipment
- To provide oversite on the Integration of complex RF designs using simulation tools and prototype hardware in a Laboratory environment
- Mentor and provide technical support and guidance to other team members in the RF domain
- Analyze test data and provide detailed reports on performance, quality, and reliability
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback
- Support the hardware engineering department in the execution of RF Technology Training
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 8+ years (or 8+ years with MS EE)
- Solid fundamentals of RF/analog/power/mixed signal electronics
- Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with RF Design tools such as Keysight Genesys, ADS, Microwave Office, HFSS
- Experience with RF cascade analysis and frequency planning for RF conversion
- RF circuit design experience - high frequency board stack-ups and trace routing (to 40 GHz), lumped element filter design, RF signal chain design (LNAs, mixers, LO/frequency generation, equalizer, filters, attenuators, switches)
- Strong hands-on lab skills with ability to prototype and test RF circuits - experience with network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, signal source analyzer
- Experience developing compact embedded systems for harsh environments
- Experience with printed board assembly (PBA, PCB, PWB) design using Cadence tools
- Familiarity with AS9145 compliant processes
- Experience with Electronic Warfare systems, radar systems
- Active DOD security clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, or 8 years with a master's degree in electrical engineering
- Strong fundamentals in RF, analog, power, and mixed-signal electronics
- Eligible to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance
- Experience with RF design tools such as Keysight Genesys, ADS, Microwave Office, or HFSS
- Experience with RF cascade analysis and frequency planning for RF conversion
- RF circuit design experience, including high-frequency board stackups and trace routing up to 40 GHz, filters, signal chains, LNAs, mixers, local oscillators, equalizers, attenuators, and switches
