We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Principal RF/Microwave Engineer to design and implement innovative microwave modules for mission-critical applications. You will leverage your expertise in wideband microwave design - including receiver front ends, tuners, up/down converters, and switch matrices - throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept to production.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as technical lead or principal investigator on Capability Group programs
- Design leading-edge hardware modules with a focus on small size, low noise, wide bandwidth and/or high linearity
- Lead root cause and corrective action investigations
- Generate necessary drawings and documentation
- Support proposal and report generation
- Mentor junior engineers
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Skills: Requires:
- US citizen with the ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or Scientific field and 12+ years related experience
- 10+ years' relevant design experience with specialization in RF, microwave, or millimeter-wave engineering
- Fluent with Keysight ADS (preferred) or equivalent software
- Strong communication and writing skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Ideal Experience:
- Experience designing tuner modules, frequency converters, front-end modules, and switch matrix modules
- Proficiency with 2D and/or 3D EM modeling
- Master's degree in engineering or scientific field preferred but not required.
- Understands and enjoys the challenges of a demanding "mission critical" environment

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Skills Required
