Leveraging your expertise in market sizing, forecasting, and competitive analysis, you will empower C-suite leaders and senior executives to make informed decisions amidst evolving market dynamics, positioning Gartner as the definitive source for actionable intelligence in the technology sector.

You will serve as the Forecast Lead within the Emerging Market Dynamics practice as a part of the Business and Technology Insights. You will prioritize delivering foundational and innovative quantitative insights on technology market dynamics, competitive environments, and customer buying behaviors. What You Will Do:

  • Develop and maintain robust market sizing and forecasting models for the enterprise storage sector, leveraging advanced statistical techniques and scenario analysis.
  • Analyze strategies of storage providers, data center operators, and hyperscale’s to assess market dynamics impacting storage demand across industries and geographies.
  • Author unique, thought-provoking, and position-driven actionable research content that delivers insight to product leaders.
  • Advise clients on strategic opportunities and market headwinds/tailwinds related to storage technologies, delivering impactful recommendations through published research and high-value client interactions.
  • Conduct rigorous market analyses and opportunity assessments, presenting findings that drive client strategy and product investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with global teams to support the workflow of others, contribute peer reviews, and evolve Gartner’s research agenda with independent, provocative insights.
  • Create and deliver high-value presentations for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings.
  • Maintain a client-centric approach, actively engaging clients with Gartner research and advisory experiences to deliver game-changing impacts.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 7-10 years of relevant industry experience, with deep expertise in data center infrastructure and enterprise storage technologies (hardware, software, and services).
  • Demonstrated experience in market sizing and forecasting, including advanced modeling skills (statistical modeling, scenario analysis, predictive analytics).
  • Highly numerate with exceptional critical thinking skills; able to articulate market fundamentals and drivers of supply and demand-side behavior.
  • Passion for predictive thinking, complex forecast analysis, and engaging in thought leadership discussions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex concepts concisely and persuasively to executive audiences.
  • Strong sense of ownership and a ‘get-it-done’ attitude; able to work independently and collaboratively within a multicultural global team.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to produce high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or advanced professional qualification(s) in a related field; Master’s Degree or MBA is an advantage.
  • Intellectual agility, curiosity, and courage to push boundaries in research and advisory work.
