Job Description
Experian is looking for a Presales Consultant to join our Data Quality and Governance team in ANZ. You will focus on delivering a high-quality experience to our customers during the acquisition and onboarding stages of our Data Quality and Governance software and data solutions. You will help guide sales pitches, provide technical expertise, develop value propositions and serve as a trusted advisor to our customers.
Experian Data Quality provides consulting, software and services to help clients maximise the quality of their data.
Work that matters - What you'll do
Support client relationships
- Work with our clients and partners to design Data Quality, Data Catalog and Data Governance solutions that use Experian data quality and data governance software to meet clients' needs and explain the solutions' projected value and business benefits.
- Perform Proof of Concept or Proof of Value exercises with clients to help position the value of our solutions.
- Be an internal liaison between sales, delivery, and product teams and ensure the commercial and technical viability of proposed solutions.
Innovation and efficiency
- Help improve our software by sharing clients' experiences with product managers and developers. And using prior experience and research to help develop new solutions and services.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring we can work efficiently and at the highest quality.
What you'll need to bring to the role & Experian
- Approximately 5-13 years of experience in presales or sales engineering.
- Excellent questioning and analysis techniques to identify customer needs, design solutions and track business and technical requirements.
- Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills (workshop, demonstrations, training)
- Experience solving technical problems and troubleshooting technical issues.
More about you
- Experience working with technology and using technology to tell a story that supports a business strategy.
- Experience in or some exposure to one or more data management disciplines, such as data quality, data governance, data catalog, single customer view or data migrations.
- Understand complex data flows through enterprise-grade solutions.
- Experience with Data Quality and Data Governance projects, including data manipulation and elements of cleansing, standardisation, validation, de-duplication, migration, auditing and analysis.
Desired
- Exposure to Data Governance, Data Quality and Profiling tools such as Informatica, SAP, Trillium, SAS DataFlux, Talend, Collibra, and Ataccama.
- Experience with cloud hosting services concepts either AWS/Azure/GCP.
