Job Description
About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PowerBI Developerto join the ServiceNow Global Partner Data and Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports, as well as expertise in SQL, data modeling, and the Power BI tool stack. You will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

• Power BI Dashboard Design: Design and develop advanced Power BI reports and dashboards that are visually compelling, easy to navigate and understand. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.
• Data Modeling: Build and maintain complex data models to support analytical needs. Work with large datasets, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Design and implement data architecture to enable efficient data flow and transformation.
• DAX and Power BI Tool Stack Expertise: Write complex DAX formulas to support custom calculations and metrics in Power BI. Performing DAX queries and functions in Power BI Analyzing current ETL processes.
• SQL Development: Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Collaborate with data engineering to ensure efficient database design and query performance.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the adoption and effectiveness of Power BI reports.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Power BI development and 5 plus years pf industry experience. Proven expertise in designing and developing complex Power BI reports and dashboards. Extensive experience in data modeling, SQL, DAX, and the Power BI tool stack.

Skills:

• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX Studio, and Tabular Editor. Strong SQL development skills, including experience with large-scale databases. In-depth understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $102,900 - $169,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
