We are seeking a Senior Power BI developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced Power BI reports and dashboards.
Responsibilities:
- • Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI reports and dashboards
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms, ensuring optimized query performance
• Work with complex Power BI datasets, ensuring robust performance and scalability for large data volumes
• Connect to various data sources and transform data into actionable insights through Power BI.
• Conduct analysis with a strong focus on query optimization and data efficiency
• Evaluate and improve existing BI solutions for performance, reusability, and scalability
• Present information through high-performance reports and complex visualizations tailored to business needs
• Translate business requirements into advanced technical specifications and scalable data models
• Assist QA Engineers with testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of BI solutions
• Create technical documentation to support scalable Power BI solutions
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
• Train and support end-users on Power BI and Power Apps functionalities, ensuring they can utilize the tools effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineering
Requirements:
- • English level – B2 or higher
• 4+ years of proven experience as a Microsoft Power BI Engineer
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries
• Proven ability to transform complex data into compelling visual reports and dashboards.
• Proficient in data visualization best practices.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling processes (dimensional, star).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to mentor and guide a team
• Strong technical documentation skills
Desirable Qualities:
• Experience with designing and implementing a data warehouse
• Experience working in Agile environments like Scrum/Kanban
• Experience with integrating PowerBi reports with websites
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Microsoft Business Intelligence and SQL certifications
