About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic programme environment where you will play a key role in driving governance, reporting and delivery excellence across strategic initiatives. You'll gain exposure to senior stakeholders, develop highly sought-after PMO skills, and contribute to complex programmes that deliver meaningful business outcomes while benefiting from strong opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.

  • Maintain programme governance frameworks, standards, and controls to ensure consistent project delivery
  • Manage and administer RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies), ensuring actions are tracked and escalated appropriately
  • Coordinate programme and project reporting, including status reports, dashboards, KPIs and executive packs
  • Support planning activities, maintaining integrated project schedules, milestones and critical paths
  • Monitor project performance against scope, schedule, budget and resource baselines
  • Facilitate governance forums, steering committees and programme board meetings, including agenda creation, minute taking and action tracking
  • Produce management information (MI) and performance metrics to support decision-making
  • Track programme finances, including budgets, forecasts, actuals, accruals and financial reporting
  • Support change control processes, ensuring scope, cost and schedule changes are appropriately assessed and approved
  • Maintain programme documentation, ensuring version control and audit compliance
  • Coordinate resource management activities, including onboarding, utilisation tracking and capacity planning
  • Support dependency management across projects, workstreams, suppliers and business stakeholders
  • Identify and drive process improvement opportunities across PMO practices and delivery frameworks
  • Provide assurance that projects comply with organisational governance, methodology and regulatory requirements
  • Support risk workshops, planning sessions and stakeholder reviews
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards and templates using Excel, Power BI, SharePoint and other PMO systems
  • Coordinate deliverable tracking, ensuring outputs are completed, reviewed and approved on time
  • Act as a central point of coordination between project managers, programme managers, suppliers and senior stakeholders
  • Assist with benefits tracking and benefit realisation reporting
  • Support lessons learned, continuous improvement and programme closure activities
