Senior Planning Engineer

Reporting to
Project Manager - India you will:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocations and procurement strategies.
• Coordinate and oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
• Evaluate and select contractors and subcontractors based on qualifications, experience and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on project status to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements, prioritising a safe working environment for all involved.
• Manage project documentation, including SOPs,HIRA, HAZCOMs,DPRs etc.
• Conduct regular meetings to facilitate communication, address challenges and to meet project objectives and maintain the MoM’s.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project status, including milestones, budget updates, and any significant developments or risks.
• Close collaboration with cross functions like Air Ops,Projects,SCM,Finance, HR for the smooth functioning of the project.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

•  A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in construction project management working in any power transmission developer/EPC in India with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

Highly Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Excellent project management skills, including effective planning, organizing and prioritizing tasks.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage project teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software's like MS Projects/Monday.com/Primavera.
• Excellent working knowledge in MS Office suites.
• Relevant professional certification in project management or construction management, like Project Management Professional (PMP) or IPMA.
• Experience in working with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau etc.
