About Us

Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.
Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes.
2,100+ customers across 80+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $200M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI, Graceview, Cadastral, and Wexler.
We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law.
Joining Legora means three things.

  • We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.

  • We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.

  • We grow together: as a team and with our customers.

Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts.

If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place.

The Role

As Legora's Senior Physical Security and Safety Manager, you'll help protect our people, workplaces, executives, and operations across a fast-growing global footprint. This role exists to build right-sized security programs that scale with Legora, strengthening office security, travel risk, executive protection, and incident readiness without losing the welcoming, open culture we want employees and guests to feel.

You'll work across Workplace, People, IT, Security, Legal, Compliance, Comms, business leaders, vendors, and building partners, balancing hands-on operations with repeatable program design.

Travel to Legora offices, events, and other locations is expected up to 30% based on operational needs.

What You'll Do

Corporate Security, Executive Protection & Event Security

  • Own security operations across Legora's offices, including access control, visitor management, badging, surveillance, guard services, emergency procedures, and facility protection, with baseline standards adapted to each site's local context and risk.

  • Build and run risk-based executive protection for the CEO and other senior leaders, including protective intelligence, travel risk, ground transportation, advance planning, residential considerations when appropriate, and protection scaled to actual threat and exposure.

  • Partner with Legal and Compliance to align security and safety programs with applicable requirements and company policies, involving them in relevant decisions, risks and incidents.

  • Manage security vendors and integrators, including contracts, pricing reviews, staffing models, service quality, and performance, as well as CCTV and alarm maintenance and infrastructure projects.

  • Own the security budget and forecast, including OPEX and CAPEX, aligning spend to Legora's risk and business priorities.

Travel Security & Duty of Care

  • Build and run Legora's travel risk program, including pre-trip risk guidance, traveler tracking, destination briefings, and added support for higher-risk travel.

  • Own Legora's duty of care approach, making sure employees know what support exists, how to reach it, and what happens when something goes wrong while they're traveling.

  • Select and manage travel risk, medical, and security assistance providers, keeping coverage matched to where our people actually go.

Threat Monitoring, Intelligence & Emergency Communications

  • Set up right-sized monitoring of global events, including geopolitical developments, civil unrest, crime, severe weather, and other emerging issues that could affect Legora employees, travelers, offices, or events.

  • Define clear protocols for incident intake, triage, verification, escalation, and executive briefing, using vendors and tools where they make more sense than building in-house.

  • Own Legora's emergency communications approach, including mass notification tools, escalation criteria, message approval, and regular testing, so we can reach employees and leaders quickly during critical events.

  • Turn threat information and incident trends into short, clear updates that give leaders the risk, the recommended action, and the decision needed.

Incident Response, Crisis Management & Business Continuity

  • Lead first response to physical security and safety incidents, document findings clearly, and escalate to the right partners.

  • Build and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, emergency services, and building security in every city where we operate.

  • Build practical crisis, emergency, and business continuity plans, then test them through tabletop exercises and track gaps to closure.

  • Track a small set of meaningful metrics and report risks, incidents, and program progress to leadership.

What You Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in corporate security, physical security, executive protection, or a related field, ideally at a fast-growing tech company

  • Experience owning security programs across multiple sites or regions

  • Hands-on knowledge of access control, video surveillance, and visitor management systems

  • Experience building travel risk or duty of care programs

  • Willingness to travel and to respond to incidents outside business hours when needed
