NVIDIA's Developer Tools team is seeking a Senior Performance Analysis Platform Lead to guide architecture, compatibility, and integration across profiling services. This hands-on role resolves complex engineering challenges that span multiple technical areas. You will align teams around shared architecture and delivery goals while contributing directly to critical implementation work. The role offers broad influence over the quality, reliability, and evolution of performance-analysis technologies.
What You'll Be Doing:
Set technical direction for a secure, reliable, and extensible performance-analysis platform.
Align product goals and engineering decisions across frontend, backend, data, security, and infrastructure teams.
Lead end-to-end design and integration for complex capabilities that span multiple ownership areas.
Implement difficult cross-boundary work that validates key decisions and unblocks delivery.
Establish engineering standards for compatibility, quality, performance, and operational readiness.
Mentor senior engineers, clarify ownership, and drive complete product outcomes from design through release.
What We Need To See:
BS or MS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree
12+ years of experience building and operating production software, including technical leadership for complex products or major platform capabilities.
Deep hands-on expertise in backend platforms or distributed systems, strong production ability in at least one language, and enough technical range to align specialists across the product.
Experience evolving APIs, events, saved state, or stored data without breaking existing users or deployments.
Practical knowledge of asynchronous failure modes, with depth in real-time collaboration, analytical services, secure multi-user products, workflow orchestration, or a comparable area.
Ability to trace a user workflow across browser and backend behavior, diagnose where it fails, and guide the responsible engineers toward a durable fix.
A record of turning prototypes or zero-to-one platforms into secure, observable, well-operated products through hands-on cross-team leadership.
Demonstrated ability to mentor senior engineers, negotiate technical tradeoffs, and maintain clear ownership while driving an integrated outcome.
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:
Background in performance analysis, developer tools, observability, or collaborative analytical products.
Demonstrated ability to choose practical consistency and conflict-handling approaches for collaborative products.
Proven track record integrating browser applications with real-time services, generated contracts, durable persistence, or cloud infrastructure.
History of delivering enterprise identity, audit, secure sharing, or reusable platform capabilities adopted across teams.
