Bring your energy to Aggreko as Senior People Services (HR) and Recruitment Advisor based in Tokyo. You'll work with the broader People Services team to ensure the effective delivery of people related services, support and solutions. You will help identify themes and suggest solutions that may be implemented leading to a more efficient and enhanced colleague experience. You will provide expertise on a range of activities from day-to-day management to intermediate people issues. You will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for Japan. In addition, this role collaborates closely with People Services Manager and People Business Partners to support project work.
What you’ll do as Senior People Services (HR) and Recruitment Advisor:
General HR programme/policy development, administration, and compliance
Managing and coordinating change initiatives within the business
General business support related to people services and HRIS activities
All aspects of the employment cycle - Employee attraction, recruitment, hiring, on boarding, engagement, retention, termination, and records maintenance
Talent & Organisation Performance, Training & Development
Employee and labour relations and communications
Rewards programme coordination and/or administration
Relocation services (domestic and international) and immigration services
You are:
Holding a relevant Bachelors degree related to Human Resources
Experienced in dealing with transactional elements of HR, including the full employee lifecycle in Japan
Highly knowledgeable of Japanese employment administration, labour legislation and statutory requirements, with a track record of maintaining compliant documentation and processes
Experienced in sourcing talent across a variety of platforms, executing full recruitment process, networking and engaging passive candidates
Experienced engaging and managing local recruitment agencies
Possessing strong attention to detail, organization skills and disciplined follow-through in managing HR records
Experienced in working with a global organization with rapid growth in Japan is preferred
Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work under tight timelines
Experienced in managing employee relations, investigations and conflict resolution with sound judgement on when to escalate to senior HR/ Compliance/ legal
Able to understand business priorities and align HR operational delivery
Fluent in profession Japanese with working proficiency in English to operate effectively with regional/ global stakeholders.
