We are seeking a talented individual to join our Guy Carpenter HR team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, Guy Carpenter, this role will support Guy Carpenter’s US, Canada and Latin America businesses with regional leadership and strategic HR counsel. The Senior People Partner will serve as the chief human capital advisor to senior business leaders, driving people strategy, organizational effectiveness and talent solutions across multiple lines and countries.
The role is a key member of the GC HR Leadership Team.
We will count on you to:
Serve as the primary strategic HR advisor to the CEO of North America and the CEO of Latin America and the Caribbean as well as their senior leaders — translating business strategy into people priorities (organization design, workforce planning, succession and talent strategy).
Drive leadership and career development programs, talent reviews and succession planning; advise on high-impact talent decisions and calibration for senior roles.
Lead and oversee complex talent and organization change initiatives (restructurings, reorganizations, major workforce transitions), partnering with COEs and People Services to design and implement solutions.
Provide oversight and mentorship to People Partners and HR Managers supporting the region, ensuring consistent delivery, escalations management, and alignment to enterprise HR programs and metrics.
Partner with our People Experience COEs to shape rewards, talent sourcing, culture and engagement strategies for the region.
Use workforce analytics and business metrics to shape HR priorities, measure impact and inform strategic decisions.
What you need to have:
A bachelor’s degree: MBA preferred.
12–15+ years of HR experience with significant time in business-facing HR roles; experience advising senior/exec-level leaders.
Proven track record leading large-scale organizational design, workforce planning, succession or change programs in a multi-country or matrixed environment.
Strong commercial mindset, excellent stakeholder influence skills, and demonstrated ability to operate credibly with senior business leaders.
Experience managing and coaching HR teams across locations and time zones; comfortable handling complex, sensitive HR matters.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $193,200 to $347,600.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
