Legora has grown from 40 to 1,000 people in just 18 months, expanding across four continents along the way. We're growing fast, and as the business scales, we need strong leaders, high-performing teams, and the right foundations to support what's next.

We're looking for a Senior People Partner to lead the people agenda across our Legal, Operations, and People functions. Together, these teams have around 150 people today, with plans to grow to approximately 250 by the end of 2027.

You'll work closely with senior leaders across all three functions, helping them build great teams, make smart organisational decisions, and tackle the challenges of scaling a business at this pace.

You'll be a trusted partner to senior leaders across Legal, Operations, and People. You'll help shape how these teams grow, develop strong leaders, and build a culture of high performance and accountability.

We're looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, takes ownership, and is equally comfortable thinking strategically and rolling up their sleeves.

Specifically, you will:

• Own the people agenda across Legal, Operations, and People, working with senior leaders on org design, workforce planning, headcount decisions, and team structure.

• Get close to the business. Understand what each function is trying to achieve, spot challenges early, and help leaders make better decisions before problems grow.

• Help set and maintain a high performance bar. Lead calibration, coach managers through difficult conversations, and make sure performance issues are addressed early.

• Support leaders as their teams grow from around 150 to 250 people, helping them build strong management teams, develop their people, and maintain accountability as they scale.

• Work closely with the People leadership team to improve how the People function operates as Legora grows, challenging existing ways of working and helping build better processes where needed.

• Connect your client groups with the wider People team, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Operations and People Tech, making sure we're solving the right problems and delivering practical solutions.

You understand how people decisions affect business performance, and you're comfortable challenging leaders, making difficult calls, and taking ownership of outcomes.

We're looking for:

• Experience as a senior HRBP or People Partner, ideally in a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology scale-up.

• A strong track record of partnering with senior leaders across corporate or operational functions. You know how to build trust, challenge thinking, and influence important decisions.

• Broad experience across org design, performance management, leadership development, compensation, employee relations, and organisational change.

• Good commercial judgement. You understand the business behind the people decisions and aren't afraid to push back when needed.

• Someone who enjoys building. You're comfortable with ambiguity, don't need everything mapped out, and know when to introduce structure without slowing things down.

• Confidence handling difficult conversations and sensitive people matters, even when things are moving quickly.

• Solid working knowledge of US employment law. Experience working across the US and EMEA would be a strong advantage.

• A genuine interest in building high-performing teams. You care about leadership quality, accountability, and creating an environment where great people do their best work.
